Der Verband der Unterhaltungssoftware Deutschland hat am Wochenende die aktuellen MediaControl-Charts für den Monat September veröffentlicht. Erstmals dabei war in diesem Monat das Beat'em'Up 'Soul Calibur 2', das an seine Erfolge in Japan und Nordamerika anknüpfen konnte: Für den GameCube war 'Soul Calibur 2' im September das meistverkaufte Spiel, für die PlayStation 2 gelangt der Sprung auf Platz drei und bei der Xbox langte es immerhin noch für Rang vier.
