News - Golden Joystick Awards 2024 : Black Myth: Wukong räumt ab!

Vor den Game Awards 2024 wurden mit den Golden Joystick Awards 2024 weitere wichtige Preise in der Branche verliehen. Black Myth: Wukong setzte dabei schon einmal eine Duftmarke.

Im Dezember werden mit den The Game Awards 2024 die wohl wichtigsten Preise der Videospielbranche an die besten Spiele des Jahres verliehen. Im Vorfeld gab es nun aber schon eine andere namhafte Preisverleihung, die einen kleinen Vorgeschmack liefert, welche Spiele auch bei den Game Awards groß abräumen könnten.

Das auch dort für das Spiel des Jahres nominierte Action-Epos Black Myth: Wukong hat auf den Golden Joystick Awards jedenfalls schon einmal eine Duftmarke gesetzt und eine Nachricht an die Konkurrenz geschickt: Der Titel wurde als Ultimate Game of the Year ausgezeichnet.

Weiterhin gewann das Spiel zwar die wichtigste Kategorie des Abends, die meisten Awards staubten jedoch andere Titel ab. Sowohl Helldivers 2 von Arrowhead als auch Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth von Square Enix konnten vier Auszeichnungen ergattern. Es folgten Astro Bot, Balatro und eben Black Myth: Wukong mit jeweils zwei Awards.
