Die Organisatoren des GDC Festival of Gaming haben die Nominierten für die mittlerweile 26. Game Developers Choice Awards bekanntgegeben - und wenig überraschend ist Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 wieder ganz vorne mit dabei.

Der bereits so hoch dekorierte Titel bringt es nämlich auf ganze acht Nominierungen, darunter auch - wie sollte es anders sein - für das Game of the Year. Damit zählt Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 ohne Zweifel auch zu den ganz großen Favoriten der GDC Awards 2026.

Die größten Konkurrenten sind Ghost of Yotei mit fünf Nominierungen sowie Blue Prince, Donkey Kong Bananza sowie Split Fiction mit jeweils vier Nominierungen. Fan-Liebling Hollow Knight: Silksong wurde nur einmal nominiert, allerdings dafür direkt für das Game of the Year. Die Verleihung der Preise erfolgt am 12. März 2026 im Rahmen des GDC Festival of Gaming in San Francisco.
