News - E3 2018 Game Critics Awards : Die Nominierten - und warum Cyberpunk 2077 fehlt

    Wie in jedem Jahr wurden auch 2018 wieder die besten Spiele der E3 2018 für die E3 Game Critic Awards nominiert. Prominente Titel wie beispielsweise Cyberpunk 2077 haben aber keine Chance auf eine erste Auszeichnung. Warum? Das erklären wir euch.

    Auf der E3 2018 war die Dichte an potentiellen Blockbustern wieder einmal sehr hoch. Kein Wunder also, dass auch die Nominierungen für die E3 Game Critic Awards mit Spannung erwartet wurden. Diese liegen mittlerweile vor, doch etliche namhafte Titel von der US-Messe, darunter beispielsweise das Cyberpunk 2077 oder auch Beyond Good & Evil 2, fehlen.

    Das hat auch einen bestimmten Grund, denn um für einen der begehrten Messe-Awards nominiert zu werden, müssen Spiele auf der E3 auch in einer Hands-on-Demo vorgelegen haben. Das war aber bei zahlreichen Spielen eben nicht der Fall, weshalb diese bei den Nominierungen schlicht nicht berücksichtigt werden. Neben den oben genannten Titeln sind beispielweise auch The Last of Us: Part II, Gears 5, Devil May Cry 5 oder Ghost of Tsushima von dieser Regelung betroffen.

    Die Gewinner der einzelnen Kategorien sollen am Montag, den 02. Juli 2018 bekannt gegeben werden. Nominiert wurden folgende Titel in verschiedenen Kategorien:
