News - BAFTA Awards 2020 : Nominierungen bekannt: Auch Walking-Dead-Star dabei!

Zu den namhafteren Awards in der Spielebranche zählen sicherlich die britischen BAFTA Awards, die natürlich auch wieder verliehen werden. Mit dabei ist auch der aus "The Walking Dead" bekannte Schauspieler Norman Reedus.

Im Vorfeld der offiziellen Preisverleihung wurden auch in diesem Jahr nun wieder die Nominierungen für die BAFTA Games Awards 2020 bekannt gegeben. Um für den begehrten Award nominiert zu werden, muss ein Spiel entsprechend vorgeschlagen werden und dann von den stimmberechtigten Mitgliedern der BAFTA auf die entsprechende Shortlist gewählt werden.

Anschließend werden die Nominierungen einer speziell ausgewählten Jury je Kategorie zugesandt, die dann die Sieger küren. Im vergangenen Jahr konnte God of War den Titel als Game of the Year abstauben.

Und diesmal? Life is Strange 2 hat jedenfalls schon einmal fünf Nominierungen erhalten und gute Chancen, eine Auszeichnung mit nach Hause zu nehmen. Noch mehr Awards können außerdem Death Stranding und Control (jeweils elf Nominierungen) sowie Disco Elysium (sieben Nominierungen) ergattern. Unter anderem ist auch der aus "The Walking Dead" bekannte Schauspieler Norman Reedus - wie erwähnt - für seine Darstellung in einer Hauptrolle in Death Stranding nominiert.
